Website Accessibility Audit Service Launched by Funnelback
Funnelback has today launched its new Website Accessibility Audit service; WCAG Compliance Auditor.
Mr. Stuart Beil, Executive Director of Funnelback said, "The WCAG Compliance Auditor will enable entire websites and even groups of websites to be checked against machine checkable WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility criteria."
"Knowing how much you don’t conform to WCAG guidelines is the first step in identifying what Action Plans an organisation should put in place over time to achieve accessibility compliance", said Mr. Beil.
The WCAG Compliance Auditor provides a common benchmark by which to measure compliance consistently over time. It identifies failures, highlights where they occur on the page and provides explanations of the errors and recommendations on how to fix the errors.
The WCAG Compliance Auditor is provided as a fully hosted "Compliance as a Service" monitoring and reporting tool requiring no installation or integration by the client.
Conformance checks are run regularly to enable clients to track and report on how their levels of compliance change over time.
Mr. Beil said, "WCAG Compliance Auditor is a powerful tool that can greatly assist and support organisations achieve their accessibility compliance goals".
