Scottish Care Commissions Funnelback
The Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and the Scottish Social Services Council have gone live with Funnelback Hosted Search on each of their websites. The service allows Scottish residents to search for adult, child and independent healthcare services in Scotland.
Ms. Eleanor Morton, Business Information Manager at the Care Commission said,
"We have moved to the Funnelback Hosted service because Funnelback is best placed to manage the technical aspects of search such as regular software upgrades, hardware and networks. This allows us to concentrate on content and the business aspects of our web presence."
Mr. Stuart Beil, Executive Director of Funnelback said "The Care Commission are using the latest version of Funnelback software with Contextual Navigation enabled. This feature allows sub-topics of interest to be exposed to the user. For example the search for 'services' bring back a number of related subtopics such as 'Rescue Services', 'Children's Services', 'Home Services' and 'Services for Aged Care'."
