Guest Speaker Ray Brown, Chief Information Officer, Queensland Health will be presenting both progress and achievements to date in ICT and the challenges ahead.
Health is an organisation with 80,000 employees, a $10 billion budget and hundreds of locations covering all parts of the state. It needs clinical systems to meet the complex needs of its doctors, scientists, technicians, nurses, allied health professionals, counsellors, librarians and support staff providing expert care, forensic analysis, advice, teaching and research. It also needs complex corporate ICT systems in HR and fiscal reporting, operations capacity and network access in all its locations
Both progress and achievements to date in ICT and the challenges ahead will be discussed by the Chief Information Officer.
